Aid Abroad: Supporting Displaced Families
Here are some images from our recent visit to Egypt, supporting evacuated families. Many thanks to our partners at United Hands Relief, our dedicated team of volunteers, and - as always - our generous donors for making this critical distribution possible!
Eid with dignity and nourishment
Qurbani (Udhiya) is the sacred act of sacrificing an animal during the Islamic festival of Eid al-Adha, in remembrance of Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering faith and willingness to sacrifice for God. For Muslims around the world, Qurbani is a powerful expression of gratitude, obedience, and compassion. The meat from the sacrifice is distributed to the poor and vulnerable, ensuring that everyone can share in the joy of Eid.
At Team Humanity, we carry out Qurbani with dignity and care, delivering meat directly to families in need—especially in areas affected by conflict, poverty, and displacement. In 2025, we organized Qurbani distributions in Egypt for displaced Palestinian families, ensuring they could celebrate Eid with dignity and nourishment.
